Lisa currently works for the ILO’s Impact Insurance Facility, by providing technical expertise on health insurance/risk pooling mechanisms in the private and public health sectors, including change management, actuarial analysis, the development of innovative m-Health solutions to cut costs and strategy development. Strategy development in this context involves looking for solutions to improve the operational efficiency for health insurance programs. The Facility’s focus is on providing insurance and other risk management solutions that cater to low-income households and micro, small and medium enterprises, primarily in the developing world. On the agenda is both financial inclusion and inclusive insurance.
